The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.
As far back as I can remember I felt the need to write. At the age of around seven I wrote my first story and found that I loved using my imagination to bring that story to life on paper. Then, it was about a time machine which is quite uncanny because my trilogy is based on the last ten years of my life. Even though some elements of my books are still created out of my imagination, the core of what Danielle goes through is a reflection of what has happened to me.
Life has thrown many obstacles across my path, and some of them were very hard to overcome, but at last my future is looking bright.
I am a mother and also a grandmother (wow that makes me seem old) and enjoy the challenges that come from the responsibilities that they entail. I take every day as it comes and I am very willing to learn, and take great pleasure in drawing on my potential of becoming a credited author.
Beauty of the natural world inspires me and it sounds strange to say, but somehow the simplicity and uniqueness of creation touches the inner depths of my soul. The feelings provoked stir up a passion within me that seems to enable me to write, bringing substance to words that needs to be released. I am a very deep person, and it wasn't that long ago when the only way I could express myself was on paper. Needless to say I wrote quite a bit of poetry which eventually led me on to the path of becoming an author of two novels. 'In the bink of an eye' was to be just the one off. Twelve years ago something wonderful happened to me, so I decided to write about it. Due to unforeseen circumstances my half finished manuscript was put away and for the time forgotten. Then, two years ago and after a lot of life changing experiences, it was found in a drawer, and because so much had happened in those twelve years, it has now turned into a trilogy. I have yet to write book 3 which will be called 'Freedom in chains' but I am pretty sure that I will be writing it very soon.
I am a firm believer that dreams do come true if the desire and determination are there to succeed. My moto is 'you don't know until you try' and like I said in my title, the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. From what I have learned it is the struggles that builds our characters, so we need to turn the down times into positive, and push through. Perseverance is the gateway to who ever, or what ever you want to be, taking you to where ever you want to go. Failure is not when you fail, it's when you give up! So keep going because dreams do come true.
